Sterilized, to prevent overweight for sterilized cats

Neutering does result in some physiological changes which need to be considered because after neutering, a cat will be less able to regulate its hunger.
At the same time, its daily energy requirements actually reduce, so obesity is a real risk if the cat’s diet is not adapted straight away.
Of course, weight gain can lead to many other problems including joint problems, grooming problems, urinary tract problems and an increased diabetes risk.

A gourmet recipe for sterilized cats

The Natyka recipe for sterilized cats contains 68% of ingredients of animal origin, including 41% chicken meat and 20% salmon meat. Developed by nutritionists, it meets the needs of sterilized cats very well while offering them an irresistible taste thanks to quality ingredients.

The addition of the beneficial herbal mix contributes to good digestion and proper functioning of the body while having an anti-oxidant effect.

Nutrition is key for the health of sterilized cats

The sterilised cat is highly susceptible to form stones in the bladder. Naturally, the cat doesn’t drink much and sleeps often all day. But, after sterilisation it will do even less and its urine will remain stagnant in the bladder for longer. This situation, along with others such as being overweight, predisposes it to the formation of kidney stones or grit. To avoid this situation, we strongly recommend to encourage your cat to drink more. Install for example pet fountains and several water bowls in your house with fresh water, and your cat will be stimulated to drink more.
